When you enter revenue, deductions, expenses, filing status, or state selections into our calculators (both the 1040-ES Estimator and the S-Corp Savings Calculator), all mathematical logic executes strictly on your local device via client-side JavaScript. None of this data is logged, transmitted, or stored on remote databases.
If you click "Copy Share Link", your current inputs are encoded directly into the URL fragment / query parameters (e.g. ?income1099=120000). This occurs entirely in your browser to allow you to bookmark or share your estimate. We do not store these shared links on our servers.
We do not use invasive tracking cookies or sell your personal information. We may utilize privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (such as Plausible) to track aggregated, anonymous page visit counts without profiling or fingerprinting individual users.
